Metabase 0.30 released

I’ve been working with Metabase for nearly a year now. Pleased to say that this is the biggest upgrade yet. There’s been a lot of work on security which means that Metabase is now suitable for larger organisations with more complex security requirements.

There are more new features than I have time to write about, so to save me cutting and pasting, the full details are here: Metabase 0.30 Release Notes

I’ve upgraded our Linux and Windows installations. As ever, it’s just a case of stopping the service, copying the new install (single file) over the old, then restarting the service. After taking a backup of course!

If you’ve not had chance to evaluate Metabase yet, this is a good release to start on. If you need any guidance, please get in touch.
